Fish changing colour

One of my little shark fish changed colour from it's natural dark grey colour to a very pale white colour. It seemed as if it almost had a layer of clear film all over the body. It wasn't swimming around like usual, very lazy. This lasted for most of the day and it's normal colour came back in the evening... anyone know what caused this to happen?

ive got some shark fish,tropical ones. that pale stuff is like white spot, and it spreads over them, it doesnt mean that they are dirty, but are becoming ill, what i did to help stop this is, just put the fish what was infested in a tank of thier own, and just put a couple of pinches of salt in with them, it usually clears up in a few days, salt does the same with white spot too.

if you dont like the idea of doing that, go to the pet shop and tell them what is wrong with your fish, and they will give you some drops to put in the water.
