A wee bit of Nostalgia

who remembers lovely coal fires when you were going to school on those freezing cold mornings?
Having your toast done on them with a long fork,
hot water bottles when you went to bed and there was patterns on the windows and you could see your breath,
when your mittens were sewn to elastic and put through the sleeves of your coat...LOL

were they really 'good old days'?
no Central heating..what do you think?

Ditto - I hadn't seen this one before, I remember most of those things - and also being red hot at the front of the coal fire, then freezing at the back when you had to get up to go to the loo!
