Million Pound Drop

Watched this last night and quite like it. Has anyone ever one the whole million?

No, last night was only the third show. So far noone has won anything. And I very much doubt anyone ever will seeing as they'd have to confidantly know every answer and not spread the money. It's rare to find a show where the minimum you could win goes from nothing to 25k though. It's deceptively hard . . . .

This is the second series though. I remember it being on a few months back, although you're right it would be stupidly hard to win the whole lot. Still, 25k would do me nicely.

I thought it was a brand new show. It was probably on during term time before, so i didn't watch it.

I don't think anyone has, as you say it would be pretty difficult. I remember some decent sums of money being won in the last series though. It's a good concept but they really drag it out and Davina gets on my nerves!

I cannot stand the hanging about - I love a good quiz but the dragging out is ridiculous.

I want to see what happens but inevitably I just turn over and forget it. Its also why I stopped watching who wants to be a millionaire. Just answer the question.

Same here dave, although apaprently Millionaire's better now they have a time limit on answering, Still haven't gone back to it though.

Agree with you both - I record it to HDD and only watch the "relevant" bits- about 15 minutes!

I don't think the million has been won by any of the contestants taking part. Some of those this week would struggle to find their feet to put shoes on if some of their answers are to be believed. One of the pairs when asked 'which of the following is an American actor - Colin Farrell, Hugh Jackman, Michael J. Fox or Clint Eastwood' actually said Clint Eastwood definitely isn't American. I would have loved to know just what they thought he is!! Some people are so dim it really is untrue.
