Hi, I have just got an ipod, after owning a shuffle for ages. How do I save different types of music on each different ipod. Have looked at the itunes site but it looks like if you try to do that , you can only save the same music on each one. Do you know of a way? Maybe someone can help me. Thanks

All you have to do is to uncheck the "Synchronise automatically" box. Then, when you plug either device into the machine, iTunes won't try to synchronise it with the library.

Of course, this means that you'll have to drag and drop the music onto each device manually...

Brilliant - thank you. Will give it a go tomorrow, when my brain is back in gear.
