Hi. If you have a Sky subscription, do you still need a TV Licence?

Everyone operating a TV has to pay for a licence to receive television signals. A licence to receive radio signals was dropped a few years ago and the present combination licence was introduced. A popular misconception is that all the money is paid over to the BBC. This is not entirely true although they do receive a certain amount. A large portion of the revenue collected is used to provide and maintain the nationwide transmission system used and for the monitoring and detection of radio interference etc.
