Hello - I haven't received a newsletter - wasn't aware that such a thing existed.

Go to My Profile
Choose 'Edit Profile'
Tick the box beside 'Subscribe to newsletter'
Click Submit.

Thanks gen2 for your helpful advice. I am sure there some ABers who may have an unticked box. However I have checked my Profile and, as I thought, it had been ticked from it's very beginnings.

I don't remember ever ticking the newsletter box but I must have, it's certainly ticked now! and I received a newsletter by email last week.

Hi boxtops....Perhaps I have done something to upset AB. I very rarely get an e/mail to notify me of replies on threaded items (my own questions included) and , on this occasion, I have not had the e/mailed newsletter.

If you are now threaded to my question...Please tell me if you have had a notification of this posting.

Ron I am getting notifications of answers to my own posts on AB, I think it must be something peculiar with your system. Did you email the ed (contact us at the bottom of this page),I know you did via the blog.

It's a bit of a coincidence I looked at that this afternoon, I hadn't ticked mine I didn't know it was there.

Sorry folks to have been away so long.

During my absence, nine e/mails have arrived from AB. but only one of them was for this particular thread; which makes it all rather strange.

My e/mail connection works fine in all other directions, although it has always been ' hit & miss with AB'. I think there is something wrong at AB's end. The Ed did say in one thread that he would have it looked at in due course . I'll wait a little while to see what now happens before using the 'Contact Us' box.
