Broken bones and sickness?

My eldery Mother broke her wrist in two places on Monday and cannot stop feeling sick. She thinks it is the pain which is causing this...is that possible. Her pain is still a 9/10 in severeness.

Presumably she's taking painkillers, could it be those causing her nausea? There are several sorts, perhaps she needs a different prescription.

Pain from a fractured wrist often provokes a nauseous state of affairs.....it should settle.

If her pain is still 9/10 she needs a review of her pain killers anyway
