Hello ED,

I am sure you are well aware of all the alias craziness going on over on CB. Is it really possible for some people to create multiple usernames under one email account? Is there any way to put an end to this?

Or perhaps you could appoint one of the regular users (such as georgit or mycatis - someone who is dependable and would not abuse the power) as some sort of moderator with the power to temporarily ban abusive users while you investigate??

I'm pretty sure you can't have multiple usernames under one email, I have tried before. But it is very easy to set up a new email address with hotmail.

I'm not sure - someone posted last night on cb that it was easy... I can't remember who said it (might have been one of the noomans).

All the ED has to do is install an i.p..logger..if he has'nt got one already.(:)but perhaps it looks better to have more people on here for comercial reasons.

It doesn't take many postings to work out who the 'time wasters' are going to be.  If only the regulars would rise above it & ignore them they'd get fed up & go away.  But constantly bickering with them is just perpetuating their silly games.

Hi All,

Thank you all very much for reporting the imposters. That way, they come to my attention alot sooner.

Just to clear up some confusion: you can't register two accounts with one email address. It's one to one, really.

If you have any other concerns over the nature of particular postings, please feel free to drop me an email.

If everyone really did ignore them, they would stop.

I don't think every greenie should be ignored... but as soon as they start being rude or abusive, people should just stop replying.

And as for all these imposters, just ignore them completely.

It's getting ridiculous having to trawl through all these bogus posts to try and find some substance or friendliness.
