Rex, the dog I sponsored at the Dog's Trust has passed away. I got a letter today advising me that he wasn't feeling well and lost his appetite over the last few months. He was 14 which is quite a good age for a dog. The thing is I never even met the dog but I still got upset about it. They've given me another dog to sponsor.

just to reassure you

'the discussion about sponsoring something' at Dogs Trust actually involves real dogs that live in centres spread around the country.

Many can be visited by their sponsors - those with behavioural or health issues can't but they certainly are there.

People like Tiggerblue and Wolf63 help support thousands of animals let down by humans - and good for them!
