The Eagles 1975
My local radio station is playing One Of These Nights by the Eagles. It was released 35 years ago which is quite shocking to me because I didn`t realise how hold I was. Anyway, do you think the popular music of today will be played on the radio in 35 years` time. If so, which bands or singers do you think they will be?

Lying Eyes was a good one too..I went to California to see my cousin when I was 22 and on the way home I was listening to the aircraft radio and they played Lying Eyes. I could see a full moon out of the window, reflecting on the Atlantic below. I still see that now when I hear that song. Funny how music imbeds it`s way into our memory
I went to see The Eagles at Wembley (beforei t got toen down and rebuilt) during their Hell Freezes Over Tour. It was ruddy brilliant, a trult brilliant group.
As for who'll still be listened to in 35 years time? Hmm, lemme tihnk, whilst I'm no particular fan of either I think Oasis and Michael Jackson songs will still be heard then.

Like Boo I had the pleasure of seeing the Eagles on the Hell Freezes Over tour but at the Mcalpine not Wembley and they were brilliant, I think Desparado is my favorite Eagles number. As to who'll still be getting played in 35 years? I cann't think of many off hand, in fact I don't think there are many we'll be hearing in 3 years. At the moment I'm listening to the Vintage Channel on MTV Dave Bowie and Jean Genii
