had to sleep on one for several days in a heatwave. It was a nightmare because they absorb and reflect your body heat and as somebody else has said, it's light sleeping in an oven and there seems to be no way of getting rid of your body heat. They are comfortable because they fit around your body contours but for the heat absorption reason there's no way I would buy one.
i bought a memory foam pillow from poundstretcher and its absolutely awful, really uncomfortable.
we bought our memory foam mattress off ebay, it came with a special cover made from a material called outlast that was developed by nasa, keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter. the seller was asking 399 for the mattress but i offered 299 and got it.

If you get a proper Tempur Mattress, they are great. I don't understand how many people are unwilling to spend a bit of money on a good mattress, when we spend a third of our lives in bed. It's vital to have a good quality matress.
As for the Poundstretcher one, I have no idea, but I would say it's probably rubbish.

WARNING - read entire post!
I bought one of the £189 mattresses in May for £169 with £20 off - it is excellent - supporting, no sagging, good quality etc. Even has a zip off mattress cover.
However, based on this I bought another one for our spare bedroom because they had marked them down - £189 to £109.
Big mistake - identical packaging but it's a switch job - the 2nd mattress is poor quality, not 100% memory foam - it's a terrible cheap soft foam mattress with an inch or so thick memory foam topper built into it.
I've currently got a complaint in to Poundstretcher but no reply other than a 'we've passed this on to the relevant team'.
I'm sure they're unaware of this problem too as Poundstretcher, despite being cheap, seem like a reputable company - seems like it's possible their supplier has duped them.
I will post again if I get a happy resolution - ie refund or replacement with the genuine article.
