MC Beaton

Evening all,
I've read and enjoyed the Agetha Raisin and Hamish McBeth books.
Has anyone read any other books by Ms Beaton or under her other name Marion Chesney? If so were they of similar humour to the above or a different genre altogether?

I didn't enjoy them much at the time - very light in comparison to Georgette Heyer who I think got the Regency period to perfection. But that was before I read Agatha Raisin (which i don't like - irritating woman!) or Hamish Macbeth (which I do) so I might feel differently about them now.
Yes, Agetha was an irritating woman but Ms Beaton discribed Agetha and her life is such a way that it was possible to relate to some of her struggles with getting old.
I also agree these books are light reading but there are times when picking up a book, having a chuckle and knowing if you can't find time to read for a few days it's easy to get back into the book without having to read the previous two or three pages again.
Because I've not managed to find any helpful info on Ms Beatons other books I was wondering if anyone on answerbank could help
