make sure when you wear trainers, shoes boots ect, wear white socks, then you can give them a good boil wash, so you dont get germs in your feet (athletes foot). also from your chemist or shop you can get soles with breathable holes in an aslo you can get foot deodariser. try it.. or you could try wearing sandles or shoes with breathable bits in them?
hope this helps

Your reference to insurance suggests that you're probably in the US. (The Answer Bank is a UK-based site, so contributors tend to assume that questions are from the UK unless stated otherwise). I don't know how it works in the US but here in the UK all our pharmacies - often referred to as 'chemists' - have a fully-qualified pharmacist permanently on-site who can offer free information and advice. (Within the fields in which he operates a pharmacist is far better qualified than any doctor to advise on treatments and medications - they're a much under-used resource in this country). I'm hoping that something similar operates in your country of residence; if so, head for your local pharmacist, tell him you have a problem with sweaty feet (or 'hyperhydrosis' if you want the medical term) and he should be able to recommend something suitable (which might be specially treated insoles or special antipersperants).
Wherever you live, it shouldn't be necessary to consult a doctor about your problem - at least in the first instance. (I suppose it's just possible that you might have some ultra-rare complaint!). It's a common problem and your local 'chemist'/'pharmacist'/'whatever-you-call-him' should be able to come up with a solution without charging you for his advice.
Hoping that this might help,
Chris
I used to have exactly the same problem until I stopped actually washing my feet with soap or shower gel - I know it sounds weird, but now I only rinse them in warm water whilst showering and they rarely sweat now - The same thing happened with my face - When I washed it, it was greasy - now I rinse it only and no problem. Then again - it's maybe just me. Good Luck.
