Tis cold - have just put the heat on for the first time this year - must be getting old

We have a calor gas heater in the conservatory which helps immensely, since we sit out here in the evenings. We've been using it for the last couple of weeks now. 'Tis always depressing when the clocks go back and the heating goes on :-(

still trying to resist. work is so bad it feels like hawaii and my house is starting to feel like a fridge. can i put another jumper on? (already wearing two)...x

that's what did it for me Icg - already had three layers on -went out for a long walk earlier on and got really warm (no mopeds for me Benny) but when I got back had a shower and washed hair and left it to dry without hairdryer so 'spect that's why I'm cold - a warm conservatory sounds nice NM

It's been nice here today - I just popped over to the shop - as the sun's setting and the sky is clear, it is chilly out. I came in to the kitchen where I'm tumble-drying - this is the first time this year that my specs have steamed up!

It's been nice and warm here in Leics but gettng chilly now. Did have heating on last week and just switched it on now.

yes Wendilla that was my point - it quite rapidly became chilly - but then it was forecast to chill this weekend.
