What do you consider to be "proper reporting etiquette"?

Sometimes I'll post on the OP's that I have reported and this morning I didn't even bother to say that I had as I was disgusted.

No probably not PL - I got irritatedd with 'that person' last night as he didn't see within another thread that I was pulling his leg (and indeed using Babelfish to translate his French). Accusing him of being the same person was me being deliberately obtuse as an angry response.
