After such comments made against women, no presenters have been made to step down, I wonder why?
/// Last night, an Ofcom spokesman said the channel’s bosses had been “dragged in”, given a dressing-down and told to explain what it was doing to meet its obligations.///
'A dressing down', not even 'a good dressing down', it seems that is the worse that can happen.

If this is the editorial viewpoint of the station (that may be a big If) they should be threatened with punitive action; fines or ultimately loss of licence.
A lot of muslims have moved to this country to get away from this nonsense and it certainly conflicts with the values and beliefs prevalent among the vast majority of Brits.

So ofcom has dealt with this situation - not kowtowed to political correctness and turned a blind eye as you're always telling us that people like that do.
And your complaining that it wasn't harsh enough!
The article even points out that in the past they have had significant fines imposed on them.
Ofcom's standards say that they will seek the response from the Broadcaster involved in breechs

That is only proper before they decide what action to take.
What if any action is taken against the presenter is a matter fro the channel and not Ofcom

AOG I bet you're grateful to the Quilliam Foundation for monitoring this broadcaster for months and then reporting to Ofsted. It is good that one truly British organisation stands up against these vile Moslem tenets which have no place in our country. This link shows how truly British it is.

Good that it's been reported. I've never watched it (I don't think I can get it anyway) and if it's extremist then I don't think I'd want to - but we do watch Al Jazeera some evenings, their coverage of world news is excellent. The Russian news channel is good too, you get much better world news coverage than the homegrown channels at times.
