Anybody know how to find out the taxi fares in Oporto, Portugal

My Girlfriend booked us into a nice hotel in oporto, but it 25 km from the airport, we will be leaving quite early in the morning, so cant use public transport. We going in January 2011

I would ask the hotel as they are sure to know (and probably have an arrangement with a local firm)

The taxi association's website has an online calculator, which suggests that the fare is normally around €25 during the day and €30 at night or at weekends

Some nice fish restaurants around the harbour by the way and if there are visits to the Port houses, take them up......they used to be pretty good....and some reasonable prices for declared vintages
