If we have an INDIAN SUMMER does that mean that the Indians have a BRITISH SUMMER but if there dont where does the term INDIAN SUMMER come from.

yeah every one in Britain thinks it refers to Empire and the long reign of Victoria, who latterly was proclaimed Queen Empress in 1877, and then went on reigning for 25 years....

but it dont.
