Son has one of those fluorescent yellow jackets with a logo on it and would like to wear it in this weather but not with that logo. Any ideas to cover/disguise please would be welcome.

Can't find a suitable category for this so sorry about that.

Hope everyone has a nice Friday, take care peeps x

How big is logo, and where ?
Why not buy your own?
Buy another cheap high visibility vest from b&q etc.. You could then cut a couple of squares out of it and sew it over the logo perhaps?

what is the logo? Is it Tescos? and you dont want to be mis-identified as someone who pushes trolleys around the car park.
Is that tongue-in-cheek, Micky? Seriously, alba, these are very cheap - mine cost £1.50 (Aldi or Lidl, can't remember which).
The ''in this weather'' part might suggest it's a thick coat and not just a hi-visibility jerkin?
True Naz - more info.needed.
I am serious gingejbee as albaqwerty says her son has the "Jacket" which I'm assuming is one of these

With £10.99 being the cheapest my advice was to by the much cheaper hi visibility vest for much cheaper (99pence here)

and cut the material to cover the logo which works out much cheaper than buying a new jacket especially if it's one of the expensive models.
they are 2 or 4 quid in b and q why not just buy a plain one?
he could get a bit of florescent tape to cover logo
woofgang some jackets go up to £100 and I believe there are more deluxe models that are more expensive.
Albaqwerty is it definitely a hi vis jacket or a hi vis vest? Which is considerably cheaper.
Buy a hi vis vest and put it over any jacket you want

woof thanks good idea and also thanks to steg too x

Question Author
jack it's a council logo from his previous work experience job thingy on the right hand side of the jacket, about 2 1/2inches square
lol sorry, but it didn't enter any of family's heads to wear a vest over the coat itself Alba??

lmao no Boo serious lack of nicotine at 5 in the morning :D lack of brain cells during the rest of the day too.....
hehe ;-)
Alba, get some waterproof glue and stick a square of hi-viz fabric from one of the cheap vests over the top - don't sew it or you'll risk damaging the waterproof quality of the jacket. To be honest in this sort of weather I wouldn't be bothered what it says, mine says something like British Rail but I bought it second hand - when I have to wear it, I've never bothered about the logo!
