what is the best way to clean laminte flooring? i have used the bog standard wet wipes which are recommended by the supplier but they seem to leave 'streaks', is there a simple soap and water approach or something else out there, thanks for any help.

Use Soapy Pledge made by the same company that make the aerosol Pledge (johnson) and a mop.

We have a Flash mop. Takes refill pads and uses liquid from a bottle. Sprays a fine mist first them mop. Get them from Wilkinsons or Morrissons.
