Hat Lining?

I didn't know where to post this really, but perhaps someone here can help.
My H had a trilby hat bought for him for his b/day and he loves it but - its a bit too big
(its a fits one size hat) I know you can get hat lining to correct the prob, but from where? or has anyone got any other idea's.

We went to the shop (Matalan) but they don't do other sizes & he wants to keep it.

You can buy foam stick-on size adjuster pads for women's hats, maybe that would work if they stayed stuck - hopefully not to your husband's head though :o)

From where would I get them Robinia.? I had them in a hat I hired for a wedding once
but never come accross them in a shop.

Jem I'd have thought in the haberdashery part of good department store.
This is why I miss Woolworths, they used to sell all sorts of things like this. A milleners would help but where are they now?
