Butlins?

Any ABers had a holiday at Butlins Skegness? I would welcome views, good or bad. Thanks.

Yes I have, but as it was in 1964 I don't suppose my (very faint) memories are of much use to you!

Compared to Haven/British Holidays I have always found Butlins pricey but know people who have been to Skeggy and loved it.  I know that it was refurbished in recent years and has always been considered the flag ship site of Butlins.

any butlins is crap &i am sure they water the beer down .i went to minehead and tried all the bars there trying to get a decent drink ,i tried bottled beer ,so called premium beer (guiness murphys etc) lowenbrau ,cans of bitter ,lager,the lot and it is all crap .i think they have special permission from the government to water it down so when a couple of thousand people make there way home at night there is not a great big punch up .
