What do you buy an uncle as a house warming present when his new house is a narrowboat?

You could always get something like one of those keyrings which is a float so if you drop your keys in the water they don't sink. Whatever you get it needs to be practical and not take up a lot of room!

Seriously though, he'll still need kitchenware, so how about something for the kitchen? A set of mugs, maybe, with an appropriate design on them like canal barges? You can buy such things in visitor shops at canals or possibly on the internet under canal heritage sites.
