My other half has a bunion, does anyone know if boots the chemist sell "bunion correctors"? Its a sort of splint you put on the big toe to relieve the pain.

I posted a question on here and a splint was suggested. I worked in Boots the chemists for 15yrs until my daughter was born and I remember ordering and stocking the shelves with Scholl's Bunion splint's. When I asked in my Boots a couple of weeks ago the sales assistant did not have a clue what I meant. I also looked on the Scholl website and found no reference to a bunion splint. Perhaps they have been discontinued. Since then I have managed to find one in the Kleeneze brochure that gets put through your letterbox. I can't tell you what it's like though as I am waiting for delivery of my daughters.
It's strange how you read things, isn't it?
I read cliffsdoll's accidental post which ends "after the birth of my daughter" and then scanned down to read cherrybomb write "I am waiting for delivery of my daughters". For some strange reason I pictured cherrybomb sat at her keyboard, while in the throws of labour pending the arrival of twin girls! Is it just me that's weird? (No, on second thoughts, don't answer that!)
Anyway, the real reason for posting: Everything you could want for the care and treatment of bunions is here: (NB: Take a deep breath before clicking on the link - The prices might shock you!):

Hoping this helps,

Er, I'm not sure why that link I gave isn't showing as 'clickable'. Either copy and paste the 2 lines into your browser or try this and use the 'Click here' link:
