What a whopper... What a beaut...

Seriously - I think giving Kate Diana's ring is a lovely gesture and sentiment. I don't think there's anything weird about it at all - ok, that particular marriage went t1ts-up, but the gesture of wanting to involve his beloved decased mum I think is a lovely one.

Boo - Spect he's given her more than his mum's old ring over the years, nudge-wink.
OK, a large house and some land would be a fair exchange.
Too many women, Diana included, fall for 'romance' over reality.
I think it's wonderful news, I love a wedding. The ring was a lovely gesture and it is a lovely way to include his mother into his happiness with Catherine (get it right folks...).
I expect it took a lot of courage for him to ask Her Madge if he could use it as it is priceless and a family heirloom, probably had to tell his Father he was using it too............that would have worth being a fly on the wall at.....lol.
Best of British to both of them I say, at least they are in luuurve =)
id have liked to see them not get married and announce she's pregnant. Bit more up to date.

morning salla, great aunt Maud signing in ;-)
It is a lovely gesture that William is using Diana's ring to give to Katherine (we have to call her that now btw) I hope she keeps her head in all this, her namesake didn't!
I suppose people want a feelgood factor with the gloom and doom of later, I bet Cleggy and Cam are thinking
Thank God for these two...
Point of order Bobbi - is it K of Aragon, K Howard or K Parr you mean?
Only one of them lost her head........because she followed her romantic instincts.
I think it is Catherine with a C isn't it?

I've also heard though, that she will be a Duchess rather than a Princess. I hope that's not true - Princess sounds so pretty and young(!), Duchess sounds grand and old.
