Mrs bear is out tonight with her girlie's seeing A-ha in concert here in Brighton ( you remember.......Borden Market and the chaps ), but do you remember them?.....and did they 'do it' for you?

If not, which band or artist - male or female did? :0)

arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Yogi, yes it was Bro's (doh!) 'take on me' i liked that one good video as i recall esp for it's time. I didn't rate the cover version that a boyband did a few years back, that was shabby.
Sorry yogi got sidetracked there. I'm in London, its more of a money issue really, but thank you anyway, very nice of you to look.

Hope mrs bear has a great night, lucky bear!
A-ha were very underrated and seen as a boy band, but they've released loads of albums over the years - most of which I have - which have been consistently excellent, far more than the commercial pop stuff they released in the 80s. I'm kicking myself that I never got tickets to go :(

2 days since, and she's not playing them as much as yesterday, so the worst looks over, thank goodness.

Tonight i will have my revenge and carp on about the England footie.......she's american born and if you dont pick the ball up and run with it for 4 hours plus whilst having 2 hours of commercials, she's not that interested.
I thought they were great, one of their videos was shot just up the road from me in a place where I've also performed.
'Tonight i will have my revenge and carp on about the England footie'

if you really wanna bore her other than the egg chasers you could mention the cricket.

I think they're a great band, AP with so much under-rated material that unless your fans, you dont know, but i've been having it whistled, sung ( loosely phrased), hummed, tapped and la la'red since about Thursday last week, so silence is golden for the moment. Happy days.

That said, it did sound like Morton H and the chaps put on a brilliant show and you cant ask for more than that.

Brilliant idea, hog.....cricket soon as well, although i'm not the best fan, but i tolerate it.

I'll stick it on at every opportunity though, just so she does'nt watch fiX Factor etc.....lol
LOL at Craft. Mick Jagger and David Bowie did it for me - still do. So does Liam Gallagher 'cept he's way too young!
A friend of mine saw A-Ha a couple of times. He said they are really good in concert. I thought they were splitting up though. Maybe it`s a farewell tour. I met Morten Harket twice, he was gorgeous and a really nice, down to earth chap as well.
Question Author
Nothing wrong with fancying Liam even if he's young, horseshoes x

It is their farewell tour, 237SJ.........shame in a way though and mrs bear and her nuttier as a fruitcake mates ( theirs about 9-12 of 'em and i call them the Witches of Eastwick, to which they know i call 'em and love) are very sad at the end of an era. ;0(:
Not into their particular genre of music but remember them when i was a kid, what a great video!

Yogi My friend who saw them is quite a serious music fan so I was always a bit surprised that he was a fan.
Micky Morten Harket is even gorgeous as a cartoon
