Can someone confirm whether I did really notice two 'in story nods' within Star Trek Voyager: Flesh and Blood part 2??
Just caught a Voyager rerun on Bravo last night, and whilst I could have been in a particularly super geeky mode, I distinctly remember spotting the following two (at least, as I joined it ten-fifteen minutes from the end) nods to other popular media...
1). In the scenes just before the main guy (virtual/computer character/Bajoran???) Iden beams the Hirogen down to a planet for hunting, there in the background, in amongst his team of revenge hunters is a very recognisable (yet in gold) helmeted Boushh character... they are not on screen for long, but enough to get a good look at the helmet. The rest of his (or her ;-) outfit bears no resemblance to the ROTJ outfit.
2). Once Iden and his team of hunters beam down to the planet for the hunt, Iden utters a short line from whats seems very close to the Green Lantern verse uttered by Hal Jordan, shortly after which Iden runs off camera (in your direction as the viewer) and right behind him is a chap in green who doesn't look a million miles off of a decent John Stewart candidate...
Just asking, as I am not an avid ST fan therefore don't have a copy to watch back, and similarly searching for these revelations on the Web returned no hits, Point 1 is a lock I believe, but I might have been dreaming the last bit ;-)
Let me know, many thanks.
