Yesterday afternoon, my eldest daughter came to visit me. She was only here an hour when he phone rang.

It was her neighbour who'd seen a lad throw something over her (6 foot) backyard gate and leg it. When the neighbour went to invesitgate- it turned out to be a dog!! The neighbour, not knowing what to do, rang the RSPCA who (surprisingly) came to collect it. My daughter rang the RSPCA today to find out what was going on, and the poor thing is a JRT cross, about 8 and has a broken leg and paw- which is why they think it was literally thrown over her garden wall.

I'm utterly gobsmacked that anyone would do this- how could they?

PS
Yes, my daughter is thinking about having it too. She needs to sweet-talk the boyfriend first, and they said they'd arrange a home visit with it.

B00 , get yourself a match stick used or not and break the blooming thing apparently therefore ending the run of peculiar bad luck. What , apart from the said match have you to lose ? ( if I find one in the meantime I will have a go by proxy ) xx
