Stopping smoking

Well as it seems to be the 'in thing' at the mo I've just booked a session with the hypnotherapist to stop smoking.
It had better be good as it's costing me the price of 400 fags.

You know you have them but its like being an alcoholic I think. I could never smoke just one ciggy, I would be hooked after one. the worse times are when I am on this laptop ato be honest. I would smoke a packet, and not realise how many I had smoked. Mealtimes not too bad. Just get up from the table, and start clearaing the dishes. Trident chewing gum helps for the dry mout moments. Good luck to you.!
I am very fortunate in that I never managed to smoke - not for the want of trying because it was fashionable in my youth. I just couldn't do it without choking. All my family smoked. My father died of lung cancer at 59, my sister died of heart disease caused by smoking, at 46. I am indeed lucky. However, my husband smoked heavily and gave up a couple of times in his life, the last time for 30 years. He was like a bear with a sore head while he was in the process of giving up but reckoned the only way was will power and cold turkey. Very difficult. I hope you manage to stop craft, lung cancer is not pleasant either to suffer or for those nearest and dearest to watch.
