Does anyone know when the DFS sales finish? Will it be this century? And will William and Kate buy their sofas from there? Just curious.

doubt if they will have to buy anything marbet, not as if they have to save up for things is it? dont think they will have trouble getting on the housing ladder either, not that I have anything against them, William seems like a nice chap, hope he becomes King instead of his Dad, I was looking forward to Dianna being our Queen so her son will be next best thing hopefully, I think I will turn anti Royal if we get camilla next to the King, Kate seems a better option as far as I'm concernend.

well,...ok I;m not going to explain the whole issue of retail sales yet again it is dull, but, in 1981, I was working in the House of Fraser and Harrods had had a fire at their warehouse and alot of furniture had been damaed, mainly by water, anyway, the HOF store I worked in bought all the stocl that was saleable and offered it at huge discounts, £3000 sofas for £300 etc, anyway, Princess Anne came into the store and bought 2 sofas off me, I was about 4 months pregnant and she was about 6 months pregnant, she was quite polite as I recall and chuffed with the bargains, her detective was very serious though.

I've just googled that and it was in 1974, I was living in Lancashire then, we only moved South after I married in 1978,
