I definitely read somewhere that the BBC is considering remaking Captain Scarlet. The series was made by Sylvia and Gerry Anderson, the guy behind the Thunderbirds and they have enjoyed an upsurge in popularity recently. Captain Scarlet was Spectrum Number 1's indescructable agent. There is more information on the series on www.geocities.com, although the BBC wouldn't confirm a new series was definitely being made.
