Wax?
It's a food grade microcrystalline petroleum wax.
So its wax then?

Petroleum wax, yes.

As opposed to bees, carnauba, polyethene, Fischer-Tropsch or Montan waxes.

Not ear wax then.....thats what my dad used to tell me!
Don't be stupid, normyc, everyone knows that the sole commercial use for ear wax is the coating for chicken McNuggets.
As a bit of trivia, we used to manufacture it at the Kaduna oil refinery in Kaduna, Nigeria in the 1980's. They might still do so as far as I know.

though eating it has never harmed me, do i lower my potential to be treated as a proper human by so doing.

i do it 'cause my dogs do, and possibly in an attempt to get treated as well as they in the household.
