How come everytime I am hung over I wake up in the morning feeling fine and as the day progresses I feel worse. When I have something to eat I feel sick and have a sore head, but felt fine earlier in the day.

It's called a 'delayed' hangover ! Try to work out when your last alcoholic drink was then calculate from there, the hangover usually kicks in once the alcohol has dissipated from your system, drink more water with it....or failing that try to get a couple of pints of water down you before you go to sleep.
The trick is to get the hair of dog in before you start feeling worse for wear :)

A delayed hangover Purplepopple? I would say that maybe it has to do with your blood circulation and metabolism speeding up and trying to deal with the alcohol as you wake and become more mobile.
You were still drunk when you woke up?
