Emotions
13 Answers
I'm overcome with emotions right now. I'm 28 and decided to move to Spain some time ago. Anyway the time is approaching for me to move, its by far the biggest move of my life to date and its only natural that i'll have emotions about it, but WOW! They are intense. I'm crying right now at the thought of leaving my mum, i dont want her to be lonely with out me, I care for her and love her so much, but this is a move that I must make, for my own progression in life. And she supports me fully. She's great, she tells me that obviously we will miss each other but with the power of the internet we can keep in touch and says that flights are cheap so she can visit every month if she wanted, and i know she looks forward to holidays in the sun :) I'm just so emotional, i dont like it. I want my emotions to go away. I know im doing the right thing and this move is going to be good for me, I'm just not used to having such strong emotions. I came here to air my feelings... I feel like im in love, i really strong feeling of love. God i'm so soppy lol... Sometimes i think im just a drama queen and like a good drama and cry, also im on my period - seems i only come on here when i have a problem or drama happening :) Anyway my advice to myself is to remain positive, onwards and upwards. New adventures and prospects are on the horizon. All these opportunities cause there own emotions and its natural what im going through. Thanks for listening x

My first husband was offered a marvellous job in Australia and every time we saw his mother she used to burst into tears and lay on the guilt. Because of her we ended up not going......biggest mistake of my life.

I know this is going to sound negative, but .... nothing in life is set in stone. Give it a go and if you really can't settle and don't like it, you can come back.
And your mum's right ..... keeping in touch nowadays is so far advanced from yesteryear. What a fab invention the webcam is. Make sure you're both on Skype (or similar). Sorry if I'm stating the obvious.
Live life to the full .... you only get one crack at it. Good luck with everything. x
