hi banth, this is the recipe i always use

175g/6 oz plain flour
100g/4 oz caster sugar
45ml/3 tbsp cocoa powder
100g/4 oz chocolate chips
10ml/s tsp baking powder
2.5 ml/half tsp salt
1 egg lightly beaten
250ml/8 fl oz milk
120ml/4 fl oz vegetable oil
2.5 ml/half tsp vanilla essence

Mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, choc chips, baking powder and salt, make a well in the centre.  Blend together the remaining ingredients and mix into the dry ingredients til just blended.  Dont overmix. Spoon into muffin cases or greased muffin tins and bake in preheated oven  at 200C/400F/gas mark 6 for 20 minutes until well risen and springy to touch
