Just watching some dross on TV and the people are out having a curry and someone has said - let's all order something different and share. If I order a curry I am not sharing it with anyone - what about you?

but sherra no one is digging into your plate, the dish is in the middle of the table, there is a spoon in there where you spoon it up on to your own plate, what is wrong with that?
sherra what do you do on Xmas day?? allthe food is in the middle isnit it??
I like sharing...as other's have said-you get to try more that way. And WhiteBears is so right...how is it different from Christmas-or any other gathering?

Hi Whitebears - I agree with that, it's a family meal with limited choice - veg and turkey. However, it's still my curry until I have had enough of it. When I am done with it, other people can help themselves. I'm not going to order my favourite for other people to scoff it.
lol sherra what if they order two of each? then maybe you can have your own but u can also have others? :-P
Well no sherrard, I would make sure I got a big first helping of the one I'd chosen, I agree with that, but after that I'll have a a bit of theirs and they can root around in my dish. It's all part of the package for me!

I am sounded like a right selfish cow now - but if I went out with six people for a curry and I ordered what I wanted (same thing every time) I wouldn't want to share it, You wouldn't order a steak and think it was ok for everone to have a bit.

Not at all, I totally agree with you ...
sherra i cant argue with the steak thing then again i dont think thats a sharing type dish. anyway ppl have their own prefence,
i went for a curry with my colleagues, three were happy to share, one was a bit funny but didnt mind sharing in the end, but the other one would not try anything at all cos it was all new to him,and was shocked that the dishes were in the middle and had to share lol.

ohh Sherra u just reminded me of friends ' JOEY DO NOT SHARE' :-P
