Domestic Violence Arrest, Bogus claim

Arressted for Domestic Violence even though there was no domestic violence.
My wife had been out of the house for over a week ( a drug addict and alcoholic) and she had told me she would "ruin me" if I said anything to the kid (aged 16). I did as he is not dumb and was asking questions. When she found out she was over picking up some of her things, she flipped me off and left. I stopped her to give her a check for a shrink she had agreed to see, gave her a kiss (she was crying) and told her to be careful and we would talk after she met with the shrink.
Next day around 3pm I had 15 local sherriff's ounding on my door to arrest me for domestic violence.
Q: How is it that she could fabricate a story of DV with no evedence of DV whatsoever? Also my 16 year old son was here the whole time and saw everything. But no one wanted to hear what he had to say. Not one person believes her story except her and the sheriff. Seems unlawful and discriminatory?

don't know what country you're in but cops have to take allegations of domestic violcence seriously. But if there's only one witness and he backs you up, you shouldn't have a big problem. Though I'd agree you've had a hard time of it so far.

I agree about problems with domestic violence BUT arresting someone in the US without any eveidence of a crime and just because he is a male goes against what the US consiustution is all about. This is the only charge in the US when you are presumed guilty until proven innocent.
I will fight this all the way to the supreme court! By all means go and get the ones that do harm to women but somewhere the rights of men, innocent men still need to be protected as all other amercian laws.
