Was it about... The Bishop?
IMO.. I hope it lasts a lifetime.. the bishop should have known better than to spout off like that.. he should be wishing them well.. but instead he's knocking them even before they have tied the knot.. How did he ever become a Bishop?

sorry about that, yes it was about the bishop
that link that you gave takes one to the headlines, one of which is this very story http://uk.news.yahoo....marriage-dba1618.html
Not sure it was offensive but i assume the Cof E hierarchy found these views embarassing as they came from a Bishop.

I was disappointed he put them on Facebook then withdrew them. Either he was stupid putting up silly nonsense in the first place or if he actually had those views he should have had the honesty and integrity to stand by them.

Still, he's a Bishop so what can we expect?

I understand that tonight he is no longer a suffragen bishop and has been suspended.

Good.

Despite what happens in marriages, he should be wishing them well and for their lives together and that it lasts. In fact he should pray.

And then to follow the 7 year comment up with derogatory remarks about the R-Family, well that was just icing on a very bad cake. It's just one more example how Rowan Williams and his team do not offer the moral leadership that they should. No wonder UK Protestantism is in a mess.

leeches comes to mind
the Queen is the head of the church, so he was dissing the boss's grandson in public. Try doing that in any job and see what happens.
A man in his position is expected to conduct himself with dignity - and he didn't. That was nasty. What a misery!!
i am still amazed at how many of my work friends put things like "had a **** day at work" or "boss is driving me crazy" on their FB pages
