A woman has just said on the Jeremey Kyle show this morning that she could not keep her obese daughters weight down when she was young years ago as there was no low fat food around then. I would have thought as she is talking about 25 years ago that there was the same fish meat and chicken and veg around. You don't need to live on ready made low fat meals to lose weight as I well know. I only keep a couple in my freezer for emergency if I am late in getting home. Apart from people that have a medical problem and find it difficult to lose weight I say you cut out the fat and the crap and you will lose weight as I have done.

There is nothing wrong with lasagne-or any other pasta dish. It's just a matter of learning low fat versions. Why not a veggie based lasagne...colourful and better than using(possibly) fatty mince. People can still have favourites-but without all the fat. That way-cooking can be both fun and challenging-whether to learn the basics,or to lose weight.
