combi boiler pump indentification ? any corgi registered out there ? :)

Hi, im trying to find a replacement pump for my boiler, i can only find one on ebay with some similar numbers: PN6 and IP44, can anyone tell me if these are what are used to match up ? if not what do i need to look for ?
theres a type, a no. a ref ! and i dont know which is the critical identification for it.

i take it you dont have any manufacturer s instruction? this contains a list of classificati ons inc. the most important one, your GC number ( 7 Figures/ digits) which you can walk into any suppliers with and get parts. the number is more important than the name.

Cheers builder, i have done a fair bit of searching and found the manuals / diagrams, this isnt usually my type of work so ive gone into it partially blind ! Ive found that the PN6 is the flange stud pattern so ive just got to see if i can cross reference with the one ive found for sale now, was just a shot really to see, you never know you could research for hours something that another ABer has the answer at the top of his head !

I assume you are referring to the water circulating pump .. NOT an oil pump that would be installed in an oil fired boiler.
All you need is a Boiler Gas Council number (as asked already) or the exact boiler model. Then you WILL get a pump. Many use a very standard pump. If you want, you can change it yourself too.
