This isn't really a question, more a need to rant. Further to my problems with my ex concerning our daughter, he texted me today cos he's got our daughter tonight and she has an orthodontist appointment up the town tomorrow. He said he couldn't take her and wanted to change the appt so I said I'd collect her from his and take her myself. He then demanded I take her back to his after to which I said no, I'd just take her home with me. This is his charming reply to the mother of his child

'Go and f*ck yourself. You offered to take her you f*cking halfwit. Forget it, I will cancel work to stop you having to put yourself out on your week off. Are you off your medication you looney? F*ck off.'

Charming eh? - oh and the medication bit refers to the fact that I had depression 15 years ago after getting knocked down.

If you didn't respond similarly, then it says everything about him and nothing about you.
Sounds to me like he's up to something. Hope you get the ball rolling soon, for your sake.

I didn't. Hard as it is when talking to him, I remained calm and to the point and made no personal comments whatsoever. It's just so infuriating that he behaves like this every time he doesn't get everything his own way - and it means I tend to let him walk all over me as I know what'll happen if I don't.

I'm on it Society, thanks x
He's a d i c k, are you sure your ex isn't jazer from Society & Culture?
You are right about remaining calm and keeping your composure. He could secretly record you and use it as evidence against you, should he fight for custody of daughter. Perhaps you could record him in his tantrums and keep it for further reference.

Society, I've saved the text in case it should come in handy, and will be doing so from now on.

Remember to gather much evidence from him of his arrogance. It will demonstrate how consistent his aggression is.

My only excuse for ever having got in tow with such a t0sspot is that I was only 16 when we met! He really is a prize @rse who refuses to believe he is anything short of perfect. Anyway, thanks everyone - I'll keep evidence and make sure he doesn't get away with pulling any more of his stunts. You've all cheered me up so I'm away to bed :) xxx
he sounds delightful !!!!!
What a prize idiot!
Next time I would retort with something smart... and blind him with long words.. seeing as he is so eloquent himself!!!
Hope you get it sorted xxx
