hi i have been told that i cant get a divorce while my hubby is in prison.is this true does ne1 know

I wouldn't think it was true, what if he was in there for 20 years! oops maybe he is??

You may have to wait for 2 years or 5 years, depending on why you are petitioning for divorce and whether he is agreeable.

You can still divorce him if he's prison. No law to stop that.
