not on cd

A friend asked if I could find Bert Weedon playing Memories of Jim Reeves on Ebay. I have looked a few sights and does not seem to be on cd. There is the vinyl records of him with the above recording. There is a cd on e bay but not the one he is looking for. Any help would be appreciated.

If not on cd it's easy to connect a vinyl stereo player to a computer and record direct to mp3. Mp3's can then be put onto an audio cd.

Thanks for reply .Passed this on but he would have to buy the record first and no one has a record player its all cd players and dvd players we have .Got rid of the old record players. didn't realise then a few years ago that they might be useful.

Not only useful Wendilla but also far better quality than the things you bought to replace them! Unfortunately we're all becoming so obsessed with making everything smaller and more portable/convenient that we're sacrificing quality.

If you were to get the vinyl, it would sound great. The transfer to the computer (either as an MP3 or an audio CD) would be noticeably tinnier, flatter and generally "less rich"

But that may be your only option. There are companies out there (on eBay etc) that will convert it for you.
