This is a brand that Costco get in from time to time - it's a white albacore tuna from America, sustainably fished etc. They haven't had any for several months now, and we've run out.
It's less fishy than most, and it's my wife's favourite.
This is sad, but I want to buy her some for Christmas....
Does anyone know a supplier, please? There are a couple of online American food places, but the ain't got none!

They also sell online. It's expensive but seriously the best tuna I've ever eaten

I think I know the one you mean - it's also called Chicken of the Sea, and we also looked and couldn't find any in Costco last time we visited because our supply was also running out. .
You could try phoning Costco and asking who their supplier is, but you may not be able to get an answer.
I suppose it's also possible that it may have been designated an endangered species and that canner have stopped fishing for it as a result. If that's the case, we sadly won't be eating any more of it but if it IS an endangered species I would go along with it not being available for consumption any more.

Told you it was expensive. Is it the Ventresca in the dark red box.If so it's the best ever! My Lottie labrador loves fish but she does struggle with her paws to open the tin. She makes do with daily salmon oil...makes her coat shine like a seal. Good luck with your search venator. I noticed on another post that your wife had done a course at Slatterys...I love their cakes. Fantastic shop. You have good taste.

I'm always trying to get people to bake their own bread, and I'll give you some fresh yeast and flour - I have Shipton Mill flours by the sack.... That's a very kind offer.I am in South Manchester,near Macclesfield so don't get over there that often.Have never been to Aberystwyth but that link is great. I don't bake bread but am always baking cakes and biscuits because I just love giving them to friends and neighbours.Maybe one day I'll do bread. The last time was when I was at college.I went to 'the toast rack' (Manchester Poly as it was) Take care.
