Drive by Microwave ?
4 Answers
I dreamt the other night that I was in my car going home .
There was a red light on the dashboard , and underneath the light was the writing
' drive by microwave '
Then when i arrived at my house , my father ( who has passed away , a few years now ) was standing on the pavement and asked me to fix his teeth for him .
I approached him and he just turned and walked away .
I woke up thinking what as all that about
Weird or what ?

I'm often curious as to why only certain things remain constant in dreams. For example I can dream that I'm a teacher (which I have been) or a musician (which I haven't been), yet my gender never changes; I'm always male. Similarly, my racial identity has (nearly) always stayed the same but there was just was one dream where I was a black police sergeant trying to fight drug crime on a Caribbean island.
Also I seem to be in a minority in that I usually dream 'in the third person'. i.e. I'll see myself 'from the outside', as if I was watching a film, rather than watch things through my own eyes.

I had this dream - I was all alone, rolling a big doughnut, and this snake wearing a vest...
Seriously though, I find it quite easy to interpret dreams if I can be bothered to do it.
I normally start by analysing how I 'feel' about the events within the dream then try to find aspects of my waking life where those feelings match.
The key word with dream interpretation IMO is 'metaphor' ie. that the events within the dream should not be taken literally.
