People that rip off people?

You have heard about it, read about it, the sentence they get, but should their financial gains Eg/ houses, cars, monies be returned to the people, the houses they have sold & the illegal monies returned to the people they have ripped off?

Hi TWR. For many of the examples you have given you can seek to recover lost money by suing them through the civil courts although you'll often find they mysteriously have no resources to pay any compensation (it's all in their wife's name etc). There's also the proceeds of crime act (or whatever it's called) which can apply in some cases if they are convicted
