Can anyone give me some names of LOW maintenance pond marginal plants (max height say 2ft) . I am getting a bit tottery to be able to access my pond to prune/cut back my present plants

Here's a list of the smaller, not so invasive species. Marsh marigold (caltha pulustris 'florie-pleno') Acorus species Lobelia cardinalis Zantedeschia (bog arum) Astilbe Houtynnia Hosta Iris pseudochorus 'Varigata' Hope that's enough to get you thinking, if you want any more, just ask and i'll get my thinking cap on !!! |

Water forget me not is quite vigorous, but dies back each winter and is very shallow rooted so easy to control
also pulmonaria is nice and doesn't need a lot of care
