Legal music download sites

Can anyone point me towards a site for legal music downloads? A friend in the US pays something like 39 cents fot a download so am looking for something similar over here. Many thanks.

The first UK site that looks like it might compete with the US sites is probably http://www.mycokemusic.com though the prices aren't as good yet. The Apple site will be available over here fairly soon though again we may pay more. Still, at least it's legal and shows an appreciatoin of copyright law and the rights of the artist!

You can now l log on to www.musicradio.com to download music being played on the GWR network of radio stations . It's the only radio group in the WORLD that allows you to do so !

Flickrmusic has been a great place for me to obtain a great deal of music. It has been very beneficial for me because I do not have a lot of time to shop for this music.
