Came home from work - parked car on drive which is on a gradient .
Went out again later - started snowing again while i was out .
Returned home - drove unto drive - applied handbrake to maximum notch - car wont stop on drive , but keeps sliding off .
Yes - but that has never happened before, in the same scenario

Had that happen to me once, I put the handbrake on opened the door put my foot on the drive and found the car was slowly sliding back. I stopped it sliding by using the footbrake, 4 brakes on instead of just 2 with only the handbrake on.
Only way is to clear snow and ice off the drive.
I bet your drive is not as bad as this one!............
