I wasn't around on the weekend so didn't see what was posted, but I get the impression there was some pretty unsavory stuff being said. The thing is that the Ed has posted so many times, advice about how to deal with trolls. Report then ignore.

It's really simple, so why don't people seem to follow those rules.

Of course there should be a moderator on here at weeekends with the power to remove posts but most of us are adults who should be able to bite our tongues. I understand that trolls were making personal references and whilst that might be infuriating, it should be obvious to anyone that whoever posted them wants a reaction. Surely if these people don't any reaction and just get ignored then suspended they will eventually just get bored and give up. So how come people don't follow the Ed's advice.

Quite right, Milly.
I can't think why no-one has thought about this before.......!?!
the odd post can be ignored and for the most past the majority was ignored and reported, the ed should have made sure that abusive content was removed quickly, but he didnt, it was left for hours and had taken up a lot of the space on page 1.

maybe you needed to be here to see it?
JTH....LOL

Say goodnight milly.
This is a very kind post Milly.

exactly vibes..
I admit to sometimes replying to the "bad" posts, it's human nature to want to take the micky a bit innit?
The first post they made was quite funny. Most of the people he named checked were on the thread talking about wellies.

If the site is quiet it's sometimes hard to resist posting....Just talk about something really innocent...like food.
plus im highly offended i wasn't mentioned.
Lol...he didn't mention me either :-(

He did say he liked you though BOO....lucky girl :-)
Was the pedestal high enough for you B00? ;o)

I understand what you are saying Milly but as the others say it was not stop bile that completely filled the page and the "Latest Posts" list on the top right. I just ignored them but it is quite difficult when its being rammed down your throat repeatedly.

Ooopps, forgot I posted this.

Zeuhl, Arundel was fantastic (apart from the car breaking down on the bypass but hey ho). You were right, it is a really love place. We came back through a country route and the whole place is so picturesque. Very nice part of the world.

Who's been saying naughty things that got removed then?
